Shameful Decision On Abortion

The decision in this case on abortion is a disgrace. While personally I'm strongly opposed to abortion, I do understand that there are reasons for retaining it in the law, so my views on this aren't driven by a desire for legislative abolition.

But the idea that a child can be sent for an abortion by a doctor without informing the parents?

Compare this with the attitude, for example, towards school trips. Remember this story a while back about a boy dying while caving on a trip? Parental consent is required for this.

So, let's get this straight. You can't go on a trip to the local museum without a note from your parents, but you can get an abortion. You don't have to think abortion is wrong to think this is barking.
